Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
AnyNoter is made by Epogia, LLC (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the AnyNoter apps and anynoter.com, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and AnyNoter shows no ads.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, display name, a hashed password (or your Apple sign-in identifier), time zone and your note preferences.
- Your content: the recordings, files, photos, links and text you choose to import; the transcripts and text we extract from them; and the notes, flashcards, quizzes, rewrites and Ask AI conversations we create for you.
- Usage and support: how many notes and questions you used this month, your subscription status, the feedback you send, and crash reports when you have not opted out.
How we use it
Only to provide AnyNoter: to transcribe, read and summarize what you import, to keep your notes in sync across your devices, to enforce plan limits, to answer support requests and to fix problems. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that process it for us under contract:
- Amazon Web Services (storage of your uploaded files and recordings, in the United States).
- fal.ai and the language models it routes to, such as Google Gemini, for speech recognition, reading photos and documents, and writing notes. Your content is sent for processing only.
- Supabase (database hosting for your account and notes).
- Resend (account emails such as password reset codes).
- Apple, Google and RevenueCat (sign-in and in-app subscriptions).
- Sentry (crash and error reports, without your notes’ content).
When you import a YouTube video, we request its public captions or audio from YouTube.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your content stays in your account until you delete it. Deleting a note removes its notes, transcript and stored files. Deleting your account (in the app under You → Delete account, or on anynoter.com/data-deletion) permanently removes your account, every note, file, transcript, folder and conversation.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Files are stored privately and shared with processors only through short-lived signed links. Passwords are stored as salted hashes.
Children
AnyNoter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export (by sharing or copying your notes) and delete your data at any time. For any other request, email support@anynoter.com.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above.
